Wow, when is the last time I blogged???

It has been a while! So long that my sweet Baby Sweets ( Anna Leigh ) wasnt even born the last time...maybe that is why, HA! She is now 18 months of badness, and Owen J will be three years old next week, wow! Where does time go?
Soon after AL was born we moved into a new home in a great neighborhood with great neighbors and friends. We have been here a while now and I am just getting to decorating the house how I want it. Decorating is no easy or cheap task, but I could not put it off anymore.
Not to many exciting things going on around here. Pageant is about to start up and consume my life for a few months and then Vacation Bible School will be close behind. I look forward to VBS though, Such a wonderful thing to see children growing in their faith!

Rooms and kids

Hey guys
These past two weekends have been busy so I havent blogged but things are going well. We moved Owen into his new big boy room! Its cute and camoflage. We got both rooms painted and Anna Leighs is green and its still a work in progress with decorations and I am also trying to find cute wall letters for both kids..
Last weekend Doug and I went to Jackson for his step brothers wedding. We stayed with a friend of Dougs and had a good time.
Other than that I am just sitting around being hot and waiting for August!

The Beach and an Update

Hello All!
I got myAir Conditioner working up here so I can come use my computer again!
Our trip to the beach was so fun. It was unlike any other beach trip ever. I have never spent so little time in the water, but Owen J ruled. He could stand about 30 minutes at the beach followed by about 30 in the pool and he was drained. Soon after that it was nap time followed by back to the beach and pool. He loved to eat the sand ( YuK!) He was not afraid at all of anything! It was insane and so very tiring I can not lie. Relaxing is not a word I would use. Our trip home we got stuck in traffic and they had to shut down the interstate, Owen is still traumatized and screams when we get in the car!!

We arent doing much this weekend, my parents are in town because its a long weekend and we are cooking fish with them and the Marchbanks' tonight at our house. Tomorrow our friends Tommy and Mary Katherine's son Nathan Connor is being christened so we will go to church with them and eat at their house after.

I have just been keeping busy with Owen, we just bought him big boy furniture and are in the process of moving his room and getting Anna Leigh's room ready, just waiting for her bedding to arrive so I can choose a paint color for her room..

Life

Well, today is my anniversary.. Two years ! 2 babies! hahah...Not much is going on, we leave Saturday for Destin and I am SOOO excited. I am going to the doctor again Thursday just for a checkup and getting my hair done.
We took our house off the market for now. So I get to start decorating the nursery and Owens room. I look forward to that and promise to post pictures of bedding.
Owen is 90 to nothin and I am getting worn OUT! Being pregnant in the summer is well, HOT!
I am such a random blogger . .
There was a bad storm here Sunday night and the power is still out at Jordan Carriers, so talk about HOT..luckily ours came back on Sunday afternoon but it got pretty bad, many homes got trees in them and trees were just down everywhere.
I wish I had more to tell you all about but we just arent that exciting...My computer at home is broken so I dont get to blog much, sorry!

SOO BEHIND

So whats going on??
Well I am going to Lafayette this weekend for the first time since August! Wow I know. It will be fun, Megan will be in town so Ill get to see her and hopefully find some baby bedding for
Anna Leigh.
The class I teach at church, Acteens, is almost over and our recognition service is coming next weekend. We are stressing about next year since me and Hanna will be having babies in August but God will take care of that I have no doubt.
My family and Hannas family are leaving May 9 for Destin for a week and I am SOOOO EXCITED. It will be Owens first trip to the beach.
You would think I had a lot more going on since I last posted put not really..Hopefully I will find bedding and be able to post pictures to share!

Its Tuesday!

Hello!
So, I am able to sneak up here while Owen J naps..our nap came late today because we had church at noon for Holy Week. But I had to share about my weekend. All I can say is WOW. If you ever get a chance to go to a Beth Moore conference GO! It definatly (sp?) put us all ON FIRE FOR the LORD! I laughed, danced, cried, and prayed like I hadnt in a long time. It was such a moving experience and I was glad I got to share it with my close friends. She is awesome, even if you can just do one of her bible studies through DVD do it..
New Orleans was fun. We shopped and ate, ALOT.. Sunday morning we went to Brennan's for breakfast and I still am craving it but it was def. $$$ for breakfast, worth every penny to me!
When I got home Sunday Owen J was not all that impressed to see me but he looked like he had gained 10 lbs!
This weekend is easter and we were going to go to Lafayette but since I was out of town last weekend and there is an easter egg hunt at church Saturday and I want to be at church on Sunday we are postponing until April 25. and Megan will be there then so thats a plus. My parents are not to happy but , what can I do!?
I was just reading my friend Erins blog and she has big news she wont share..and I DONT have patience for that...........
Thursday is my 20 week ultrasound where they check the heart and organs and search and hopefully tell me 100% she is still a girl! Mine is at 830 and Hannas is the same day, that afternoon...
Not much else is going on..helping a friend of mine who is getting a divorce move into her new house, going to church this week, and Doug has been practicing softball so our church can have like the best team ever apparently..

Weekend

So I know its only Wednesday but I have a lot going on just updating all on my weekend...
I am going to New Orleans with a bunch of girls from church for a Beth Moore Living Proof Conference, cant wait to let you know about it, we are very excited! 11 of us are going Friday and 5 of us are staying for a second night. The conference is over Saturday at noon but we are staying to just hang out and relax since it will be just girls! Crazy...I know...
Tomorrow my grandmother and Russell are coming to visit and see Owen J, I have meetings tomorrow night but its not like they are coming to see me.
Doug and Owen are staying at Dougs moms house and Doug will fish Saturday in his tournament while Ms Peggy takes Owen to the Delta Music Festival in Ferriday, exciting! haha
I leave 8 a.m. Friday and have lots of clothes to iron before I go because if you recall, no more Ms Toni!! And just to let you know that is going fairly well and I am proud of myself!

So today I did another ultrasound for fun, and ITS STILL A GIRL! haha. Yesterday Hanna went and got an ultrasound done again, but her little girl became a little BOY!!! She is so excited! I guess I went and got one done because it scared me hers changed!
Its supposed to rain here all the rest of the week so that is not going to be fun. And we have pageant tomorrow night. This weekend is Missions Day at church so we will be doing that. I am supposed to be cleaning houses, eww! On that note....
Tomorrow will be Ms Toni ( my maids ) last day. Im scared.. I know that sounds horrible but I have had her since I moved here. And yes, it was all my choice to get rid of her. She will be helping Dianne out more which is good and I will be saving a lot of money that can and should be going to tuition for my childrens schooling in the future ( BECAUSE ITS NOT CHEAP!!!)...Wish me luck on my cleaning. I started Monday and so far so good. I do at least an hour a day and once I get caught up on my laundry, will do a load a day.
Well it is almost 8 oclock and Owen is still going strong. I need to get him calmed down so I can go to bed, I AM SLEEPY!

Update on the Jordans!

Ok
So,
Since I got my iPhone I never ever come up here anymore to type and update this thing. I promise I will get better. So whats going on here . ..
Well we found out what we are having and its a GIRL YAY! We are so excited and I cant wait to start buying things for her. I have been feeling fine and it is really flying by because Owen keeps me so busy. A friend of mine works at my dr's office so she gets me in to do ultrasounds all the time. Also another friend works at the hospital doing ultra sounds so she does them for me too...it is great!
Owen J is doing good. Playing outside all the time. We had a crawfish boil last night and he had tons of friends over to play. We are doing the Natchez Historic Pageant right now and it doesnt start until 8 two nights a week so he has been staying up until 930 every night lately.
I took him to the zoo in Baton Rouge last week and he loved it. I didnt think he would be much into the animals but he was! We went with our "playdate group" who we meet with once a week, but on pretty weeks we meet alot more than that! He chipped his tooth somewhere, I just noticed it, but the dentist said it will be fine because its a baby tooth so I guess that is good ...
We found out today that another friend of mine is pregnant and due 2 weeks after me...she waited a while to tell but that makes like my 5th friend that is pregnant right now, and my best friend Hanna knows that she is having another little girl too! Our little girls name will be Anna something , probably Anna Leigh Jordan. Its my favorite and Doug says he named Owen so I get to name this one. THANKS!
Doug is doing good, still saying he never gets to go fishing ( HA!).....
I am going to New Orleans on April 3 to see Beth Moore with some friends from church, should be a fun trip and I look forward to it. Tonight at church we are having a "wild game cookout", they have moose, elk, karibou, alligator, all kinds of stuff a pregnant person might turn their nose up at....but Ill go for the fellowship, Doug is cooking alligator with our friend Ryan..
As for the house, still for sale . . contract is up next month and I am praying on what to do next. . I have a nursery and a big boy room to get ready ( not that Owen is sleeping in his room or anything), tonsils ruined us on that but Doug said he is about to get Owen back sleeping in his room . . . PRAY for THAT!
Dougs grandmother is doing ok now . She had surgery 2 weeks ago tomorrow for colon problems and was having problems after that. Diannes mother, my other mother in laws mother, is not doing so well either and it is weiring on our Mimi ( Dianne) so please pray for her too.
I have alot of other things going on but I am not sure it is stuff any of you would care about..Garden Club, Vacation Bible Schoool, Junior Aux.....blah blah....but all in all we are great..and we are going to the beach on May 9!! SOOO EXCITED!!!

Did you think I forgot how to post?!?

Wow, it has been a while huh? So much has been going on!!! Owen J got his tonsils out as most of you already know! It has been ROUGH to say the least. He just today is getting over his "mommy-itis" as I like to call it. We have been attached at the hip, and that has been very hard on me. This past weekend we spent the weekend at Dougs moms house at the lake. It was nice to just get away from the house.
He is doing just fine now and the dr said he is healing great. His horrid breath has gone away and for the first time today his nose has stopped running. My child may be well for a while after all!
Owen J is going to be 1 this week and that blows my mind and makes me sad that my baby is growing up so fast. That one year FLEW by. He went to his first mardi gras parade this past weekend and I will have to post pictures. He sat in his stroller laid back with a cookie taking it all in.
As for the new baby, I still dont know what it is but have an appt on March 9 and will hopefully find out then..
Owens birthday party is Saturday and has a John Deere theme. We are getting a big pile of dirt and sand for the kids to play and dig in... PRAY FOR NO RAIN PLEASE!!
Doug is doing well..working hard right now because this economy is not good for trucking as you can probably imagine...
My house is still for sale, hardly anyone looking, which is frustrating but what can ya do???

I think I have caught you all up on my life as of late...about to go buy Owens birthday present and get dressed while he sleeps

I really need to get my camera and get pictures on here, but I will get it slowly but surely. Mainly I have not put anything on because I have been busy not sleeping and taking care of O. We went to the ENT yesterday.. if the new medicine he is on does not help him in 10 days we will be getting his tonsils and adnoids out! So lets pray it works.
Other than that nothing really happening. Just being really tired and hungry because nothing sounds good to me at all!
